Iowa has one of the top A.D.'s in the country IMO. Obviously she has a long ways to go to prove that, but absolutely everything she has done since her arrival has suggested that she is up to the task and light-years more competent than her predecessor.

JMO, dude. I said that she's not close to proving it yet, but she has impressed. If GB were still our AD, BF would still be our OC and Fran may also still be our MBB coach. She's done everything to earn my support. Don't get mad because of that. The better she is, the better it is for all of us.
There was no way she was going to interfere, unless KF tried to hire another family member, but yes, she has to rubber-stamp all of his asst coach hires, just like every other AD, so to say that she "had no say" is what's bullshit.

I am somewhat surprised that we didn’t hear more about the Carver renovations during the season. With the need to come up with more nil money for basketball I think the renovations get pushed back until the team starts winning and filling up the arena. Hope it happens.
She seems like a really good AD. Maybe a great one. Time will tell.

The NIL has been very strong for everything except men's basketball and she just secured a big jump for men's basketball. Either you don't know what you're talking about or you're just mad a woman has a position of authority.

So, according to you, after she had to take it upon herself to force BF out, KF could have hired Steve Ferentz as the new OC and there's nothing she would have been able to do about it? KF doesn't pay his assistants from his salary; she's in charge of athletic department payroll; she has final say. I already said that KF likely had autonomy as long as he made a reasonable hire and she would go along with it with essentially no interference, but she's in charge. My claim that she had to sign off on it is much less of a stretch compared to your claim that "she had no say."
They don't necessarily get to pick and chose. The people donating to Carver might not want to give to NIL. And Caver really does suck.
