GOP’s Crumbling Case against Biden on Crime, Immigration, and Inflation

All these GOP candidates ads running non-stop in Iowa are ringing hollow as they focus on these issues they believe are weak for Biden.
They need to go back to the drawing board and focus on taking down Trump instead...looking at you Tim Scott and Doug Burnham and desantis.

What’s with all the ellipses? Why don’t you just say the thing you’re trying to be really cute about?
Apparently improper use of ellipses....

Guess my point is 2024 isn't going to be a cake walk...we're basically a 50/50 country for better or worse...

In a world where 35% of the country don't want to actively end our Constitutional Democracy and another 5-8 percent are perfectly ok if it ends as long as it's their guy in charge then it would be a cake walk in 2024. However, we don't live in that world.
Your world would exist if Joe wasn't going to be 82 years old and his VP wasn't a shit show like KH.

Joe's VP has to be a viable option for people and Kamala ain't it...

So, despite the fact that illegal immigration numbers are cratering, inflation is almost back to pre-pandemic levels, 800,000+ new manufacturing jobs have been created in the US, our GDP has increased beyond predictions, and now even Morgan Stanley has stated that Bidenomics is working, your concern is that Kamala Harris is his VP.

I think you just don't like to see that once again, conservative economic policies have been proven to be a complete disaster and liberal economic policies have been proven to actually work. So you are searching for stupid stuff to cry about.

Polling numbers validate my opinion...it is what it is.

If you don't think Joe's age and his VP being Kamala Harris are issues...so be it. I think they are...

Have to admire the writers effort there. It's a very fancy way of saying "things are still bad but not as bad as they were 8 months after Biden took office, which is good!!

I'm afraid the GOP argument isn't going to be neutralized until the metrics match peak trump economy, or even "when trump left office" would be a great start.

I still think Dems will be running on identity politics in 2024, though I'd love to be wrong.

They are issues, but his job performance more than makes up any questions I have about his age. I do have concerns with their messaging though and their inability to call out the media, particularly right wing media, for the false narrative of an economy they have been running with which is the primary cause for the first thing. To be fair, we had to go through some rough patches to get to where we are so it is far easier to show how the economy is better rather than saying that what we are doing now will make it better in the future. I expect their messaging will be far better now that there is hard data and results to back up their statements with.

This, the Dems messaging needs to be better.

What "metrics" are you referencing?

Reactions: unsubstantiated
Not a cakewalk, but if the economy looks good next year you have to give the edge to the incumbent.

I'd have said the same thing for Trump in '20 - if not for Covid we're likely in the midst of his 2nd term.

In old America, I'd agree with you. In whatever this is super hateful America is, I'm not sure.

I wouldn't give him all the credit but maybe he did a good job hiring people that know what they are doing in their respective fields, something not seen under Trump. You can drain the swap but you still have to put people in who know what they are doing. Putting one of the most gifted surgeons and health care specialists in housing will always be a mystery to me.

I'm certainly not a Kamala Harris fan by any means but ultimately the VP doesn't do a ton. The other cabinet positions are doing fine. I'm glad the numbers are trending in the right direction. That's good for America.

Yep, they're both an issue. Unfortunately for the GOP they're running an old crazy guy though.

I guess Biden is going to win in a cake walk in 2024......

:)
If it was just “the popular vote” there is a good chance...we are seeing the major flaw of the Constitutin playing itself out in front of our very eyes, bins...the electoral college was a necessary evil 250 years ago to form this nation....now it is just an evil divider of the people. The electoral college should be the first thing to go...we are Americans, first and foremost.
