GOP’s Crumbling Case against Biden on Crime, Immigration, and Inflation

Totally fair. I guess I was meaning in the context that people believe the president has this massive power to do all these things that others are actually in charge of. He does appoint those people and collaborate with them.

I think both can be true to an extent and that it depends on the President's demeanor and understanding of how the office functions.

There are many ways but the one I was referring to was the one where people could be arrested and thrown in jail for voting in Florida. Sure, this applies to Republican voters too but I'm sure it will be applied completely equally to people with Republican demographics as it is to with Democratic demographics.

So your example is the suppression of the felon vote.

No. It's the people who might be afraid they have an unpaid parking ticket somewhere, goes and votes, and then ends up with a felony because they voted with an "unpaid fine". Black people know damn well who will be getting checked for that and who won't.

It’s outdated. Wyoming shouldn’t get a higher percentage of electoral votes by population than California. That stupid system is basically the only way Republicans can win. Minority rule.
You apparently skipped history classes. I'm glad you just teach PE. It's not outdated and is actually needed more than ever.

If it is such a great system why do so few countries adopt it?

In any case it hasn't really worked since the beginning. It was supposed to prevent factionalism. It didn't. It was supposed to serve as a barrier to populist tyrants. This is debatable honestly hasn't been a huge issue historically. It was supposed to prevent a small number of states from having undue influence. This hasn't happened either. Candidates focus on winning swing states and largely ignore states that they cannot win.
The winner take all system has increased factionalism and encourages the selection of more extreme candidates in the primary process.

Your world would exist if Joe wasn't going to be 82 years old and his VP wasn't a shit show like KH.

Joe's VP has to be a viable option for people and Kamala ain't it...
Remove tax cuts for the wealthy and starting wars from the equation and Biden got more done in a year than the previous two GOP presidents managed in twelve. Sandwiched between those two was a president who got heath insurance extended to millions of Americans. And the GOP does what they do best...fight all of that tooth and nail then take credit for it when it proves popular.

Yeah...it should be a cakewalk but Americans might be the dumbest f'n population on the planet.

Due to population imbalances only getting worse it is a problem that is likely to continue happening, especially if voting demographic trends continue.

You are a clown. a state 1/47th the size of the biggest should not be on equal footing.

I am all for disbanding the Senate.

Joe's age and Kamala will be one of the main reasons if he loses...against someone other than Trump. He still beats Trump IMO...

I would take William Howard Taft over Ron and he has been dead for 100 years.

If Ron is elected, the USA is in trouble. He would declare War on California immediately and then its on.

Lol at dems running victory laps on inflation in general but it's extra ironic given the CPI just went up again

Used cars, air travel, and clothes...lmao
Yes, laughing at the prices of everyday critical goods is a winning strategy. You should definitely stick with this plan and also claiming Harris is a good VP.
