Oh well, it happens. Hats off to the Zags; I knew they could shoot, but they were much more physically dominant underneath than I ever expected. I hope they get to the Final Four now.
A disappointing loss, to be sure, but let's not lose sight of what a fun year it's been and the progress Fran continues to make with the program. Next year will bring an experienced nucleus of Gesell, Sapp and Uthoff; and hopefully improved games from the veterans Woody and Jok. If one or two of the freshmen come in ready to play, the program will continue to progress.
