I donāt understand some people. What would make someone think thatās a good idea? Like the TikTok creator who said that anyone who had a Harris hate would get a punch from him. Thereās idiots everywhere.

Probably should be for being a dick, but I would imagine he is protected by Kansas law to be able to express his opinions. Even if they're rude and hyperbolic.
In saying what he said, heās doing exactly what he sees his political opponents doing. Iām sure his tenure will protect him, but he canāt deny that he made a fascist statement. And that makes him no better or worse than those that he opposes.
Nothing worse than what gets said by a handful of educators on here daily.

He's saying men who won't vote for a female candidate because she is a female should be shot. Is a hyperbolic, inappropriate statement-Yes. I would venture that he's implying sexist members of society aren't good citizens and are part of the problem and not the solution.

FYI tenure means nothing these days. You aren't protected anymore. It's a complaint of many university professors.

And that you have bigots and racists out there that will refuse to vote for a candidate because of their gender or race. Again he is saying bigots and racists opinions are not worth his time and those opinions should be gone. He isn't legitimately saying they should all be killed.
So just to paraphrase this, he is going after people who are racists and bigots. Stating due to their intolerance, in his opinion the world would be better off if they were shot. Likely similar opinions these racists and bigots have of the class of people they dislike. But we will go after him for not having tolerance for intolerant people. Really????? I don't think you know what you're talking about, and you'll appeal to masses makes you sound stupid.
Ordinary people the world over would convey their beliefs in a far more civilized manner. This is a common problem with people that get deep into politics. They believe theyāre entrenched in a war of good and evil. It leads them to say deeply regretful things and makes otherwise intelligent people orders of magnitude dumber.

I don't think tenure would have anything to do with it. Around 2018-2022 many states, especially red ones, passed sweeping protections for free speech on public campuses. Your or my judgment of his character has nothing to do with my post.

Had it been Nikki vs Biden, I would have gone Nikki. I think she has a level head on her shoulders. Actually talked to her a bit at the Iowa womens basketball game in late December early January. She sat right in front of me.
