Gov. Kim Reynolds: Iowa ready to use National Guard, law enforcement for mass deportations

Yeah, I am all for that. Not all of it will be enacted, but if a large part of it is, it will be a much better country for all of us. Even you lefties, no worries, we'll take care of you.

So you think denying H1-B visas is a good thing? Man we just have a fundamental difference of opinion.

So you want to give access to high tech secrets to the Chinese huh? I wonder why their subs and planes look like ours. Maybe Google can share some Quantum chip technology with them.

Because it was never a problem until they decided it was a problem. NOW it’s a problem. A crisis, even!
It was not a huge problem. But then we had a President who decided to allow more potential dem voters in and let 16 million of them in.

Governors don't have the authority to enforce immigration law. Several states have passed laws. The dems file suit to prevent the laws from moving forward.
What do immigration laws have to do with anything? Terry and Kim have made no effort to protect Iowans with the tools available to them. Kim went to the border to grandstand, but won't go to Louisa County to go after the employers who attract illegals. She won't go after the dairy farmers in Iowa who have a single wide behind the equipment shed with 5 guys living in it working 6 days a week illegally.
You guys are soft on illegals, always have been.

THIS^^^^^^^ is what is wrong with “immigration laws” in the USA. Work permits, visas and the like are EASY to track in today’s computer age…..you can probably do it from your phone.
The “illegal immigrant” problem is unique…..First, I agree a nation has a right and a duty to maintain control of its borders….but secondly, it is disingenuous when a nation allows “illegals” in to do the work (their shit-jobs, as it were) and then decides these folks are criminals and treat them as such. The first problem can be corrected by rewriting its immigration rules making them realistic with quotas and numbers….the second is easily corrected and controlled by using available technology and enforcing the laws on the books and punish the real criminals here……employers.

Hey, we finally agree on something; there should be a crackdown on employers hiring illegals. I believe the NY Postville CEO did some time, that was under Terry right?
