Scrubs was one of the best TV shows ever to use music to set the tone and move the story along. As was the Wonder Years before it.

I LOVE the wonder years….actually purchased bootlegged version of the entire series on DVD before it became available on ebay back in the day. (I think there was copyright issues with the music actually that made them unable to release on dvd)

Scrubs was so good, especially the first few seasons.

For me, the best ever is the use of Satchmo's "What a Wonderful World" in Good Morning Vietnam. The cheerful, optimistic lyrics juxtaposed with scenes showing the horrors of war is stunning.
