We might see a negative punt from Rastetter on Friday. Might as well just go for it on 4th every time, nothing to lose anyway.
Line up Stanley and company and just throw it up in the air. Hell use the old Arm-Punt. If they intercept it works out great, if we catch it works in our favor. Now if they knock it down then it will suck, but hell our punting hasn't been that good so Id chance it.
Nice. Should be just like the god awful 2012 game we lost 13-7. Our offense is operating on a similar level at this point, but with better skill position players...........let that one sink in.

Are we going after grad transfer? Slow boring defensive style football needs a good punter. It’s like our basketball team without true point guards. I’m dreading going to this game. Son won’t let me out of it. Would much rather be golfing in 35 mph winds.
Yes it is a necessity to have a good to great punter with our system. Very high up on the list for sure.
I wonder how many times we could use a long ball interception in lieu of a punt before Nebraska figured out what we were doing?
The playing field is laid out north and south.
So you can tell if the teams are going into the wind or not while watching the game, the north end zone (EZ) has the word "huskers", south EZ says "nebraska".

If we win the coin toss, take the ball. It worked out so well the last game. Our 117th ranked offense should have no problem moving the ball into the wind.

There are no weather conditions good for Iowa's punt game. It sucks with the wind, against the wind, with no wind. It just sucks period. Just throw long bombs on 3rd and long and tell receivers to "fall down" so the safeties can catch 50 yard interceptions and try to keep them from returning it more than 10 yards.
This is great news for our offense, the balls going to be blowing around like crazy for Jackson.
Actually, if we win the coin toss, we should choose to kick. Not DEFER—KICK. That way we can start both halves on defense. Improves our odds to score...
That's ok. On average, BIG teams only punt 4 times against Nebraska.
