Two average to below average teams playing in a meaningless game in November and Kirk calls this game like it’s the Big Ten title. It’s time to retire Kirk. Beyond time.
We are on a 4th string QB because Cade McNamara is a piece if shit.
It is very true that we need a new head coach, new plays, new a whole bunch of things. But I am fine with Kirk winning his 5-7 games next year to break the Big 10 record. Then he should pack it in and let some top 40 year old so and so coach take over.
A lot of really good coaches would love to come to Iowa, have success and longevity if they can just have an exciting team

We used to be able to compete against top 25 teams under Kirk. That’s been out the window these past three years.
We all know you're a Clone fan over here stirring the pot. Hawks pulled out an incredible win with a walk-on QB and numerous injuries yet you have to take shots, what a loser.

I was there last night big guy. No shots to say we got dominated by a below average Nebraska team that absolutely self destructs in the fourth quarter.
Iowa just won with a qb that pays to play here, over a team who is paying their qb 7 figures.

Well the Husker OC isn't the brightest, every run outside the tackles went for big yards, yet didn't do it. The shorter shallow routes were wide open yet he run them, except when the Husker dropped wide open TD ( the game right there ). Keeping your frosh qb in drop back mode was not smart, especially in that moment. If drop back, do it quickly and throw it up, if picked no biggie, better chance for PI with bad Hawk secondary.
Playing for OT made much more sense for Huskers. Hawks would only get a FG and no way do they get a two point play. Huskers scored rather easily down there.
