Wonder how many football games throughout history have ended with one team scoring 4 points?

I Googled it and apparently it has only happened once in the NFL (1923 Chicago Cardinals) and five times in the NCAA:

“Teams have finished with exactly 4 points five times over the last 80 years. A 6-4 game in 2004 (Penn State), a 26-4 game in 1989 (Kent State), a 31-4 game in 1987 (Florida), a 10-4 game in 1982 (Oregon), and another 6-4 game in 1955 (Indiana).”

Great defensive game. Loved when Pam Ward thought Iowa giving up the second safety was a mistake and shouldn’t of done that but Mike Tomczak said it was the right thing to do since PSU wasn’t moving the ball against Iowa and no reason to give them a short field to score a td or attempt a field goal if they punted. Iowa chose a safety and it worked out for them to get the W. I’ve despised the woman ever since and don’t think she still broadcasts. Not sure whatever happened to Tomczak since he doesn’t announce anymore.

Fran, when I hear 6-4 or June 4th only one thing of real importance comes to mind and that is all the heroes of the Battle of Midway. The 6-4 win over Penn St was great and sort of a look at our offensive future of low scoring defensive wins.

But June 4, 1942 is when the pacific war changed for the best for American and the world. I have always been interested in how those men could dive bomb and do torpedo runs through all that flack and most knew they would die. I never got to meet my mom's two brothers who both died in the pacific in the Navy and my dad was a marine raider who made it thru Guadalcanal and one more island campaign before being injured.

The Best to our troops and I hope our leaders who dont want to help Ukraine get their heads our of their asses.
