One of my favorite days of the year. Every team is in contention. Unfortunately the Astros are on the west coast and don’t start until 9:07.
The Royals are building toward next season and there’s a lot to like about what they’re building. I really like their top 3 in the rotation, but they’ll need Mondesi to get and stay healthy. I’ve seen several predictions for Witt Jr. to be ROY...I hope so.The KC Royals won the Cactus League in spring training!!! Unfortunately probably going to be the high water mark for the season.

Agreed. Anything over 80 wins would be considered a very successful season I my book.Well see, the Royals Are going to score a lot of runs this year. Can the pitching complement the offense, yet to be determined. I like the 1/2 of Keller and Singer, Minor coming in hopefully will be like the 2019 Mike Minor. Bubic will need to improve and Duffy will need to stay away from the alcohol and Burger King! I think this team can win 85-87 games this year because of the offense.
Thanks Lute, over to you Sota..One of the signs of Spring is MLB Opening Day. It gives
hope to every team franchise that this might be the year
for a World Series Championship. The L.A. Dodgers are
the favorites in the N.L. and the NY Yankees in the A.L.
to meet in the Fall Classic in October.
Yea, cold and windy for the east half of the nation on Opening Day.Snow flurries here in Cincinnati for Opening Day.
Let's go Rangers!!
Let's go Rangers!!
Only thing that would be better is if mlb lifted the stupid blackout restrictions and dish network quit being cockdicks and settle with fox so I can watch Brewers games this year.
I'll allow it. Use it in good health. You'll find it applies much more than you may expect.I might have have to start using this! Thank You!
There are three starting pitchers going today that were all on the same high school team together in Los Angeles.
Jack Flaherty of the Cardinals
Max Fried of the Braves
Lucas Giolito of the White Sox
4-peat sir.The NL East is going to be tough this year. My Bravos will be hard pressed to three-peat.

Thank you for the correction.4-peat sir.
That high school team had better won at least one state championship.Yep and all three have Cy Young potential. Especially Giolito and Flaherty.
If you hit the return key a few more times, this could've been a Lute post. There are three starting pitchers going today that were all on the same high school team together in Los Angeles.

Thugs...no defense..History made at the K!!!!!!!!!!!! Before today, no first inning of an opening day had there been a game in which both teams scored 4+ runs in the first inning. That has now been accomplished! LOLZ, anyone take the over in this game????
Lost 14-10. That sounds about right for a Rangers game. You are about to meet the best offensive in baseball today, Saturday and Sunday! WuTang!
