To make matters worse for ASU, Mineo is saying that Richie Figs to Iowa is basically a done deal. We shall see if it comes true this summer, but I’d love to see Pritts reaction if it did.
We could use him second semester this year. Next year his last year? Delucca must be a redshirt next year.
Take what Pat says with a grain of salt. The Figs thing is speculation at this point.

Mineo is early, and sometimes wrong (and sometimes just wrong b/c things change), but there are legs to Figs to Iowa.
a good number of folks say mineo and i are in cahoots - which isn't true. he does his thing, i do mine as i see as fit.
but if he says something, there's usually something to it, which is certainly the case w/ Figs.

Welcome Harvey! What a fantastic addition! Sets up one hell of a back end of the lineup.

It just makes me wonder why he wouldn't have done this for this year if this was his intent. Maybe things changed since portal.

The real question is does Bo eliminate Iowa or PSU first? I’ll go with PSU.
Feeling tOSU for Bo but just maybe the new media darlings OSU will land both.

Harvey is the real deal, I didn’t hear a ton about him coming to Iowa. He’s really f*n to watch. Competes like a light weight and has a ton of really exciting attacks. I watched him DOMINATE the #3 kid at 220 Cade Ziola (Nebraska Commit). This was last year I believe when they were both at 182. Harvey was very close to a tech fall in that bout “settled” for a 19-6 major. Mentally broke Ziola in that match. Looking forward to seeing what he does in the room.
Hopefully has a better career than the last high profile guy...Colby Franklin.
Kolby wasn’t as big of a recruit as Harvey, and a career ending injury is the reason his career never materialized.
It’s Kolby. And his career never got a chance to get off the ground due to a string of neck issues that led to surgery that forced him to retire…. And is still a very valuable member of the Hawkeye Wrestling family.
You sound so confident, did you get this right from their mouths?
I think KOLBY's career has been rather awesome. Sucks he got hurt, but it happens, and he's doing a helluva a job with the Hawkeye Academy not to mention as my son's best friend and roommate is considered an adopted son.
He teched him at Fargo this year, too
