Iowa seems to ASU North and SDSU is Iowa West.
Might want to stick to Dresser and Minnesota.

PSU started buying all they could before buying all you can was allowed, they seem ok and still buying away out of highschool. Iowa slacking on the highschool recruiting has always been the problem. They are forced to rely on more transfers for now. I am encouraged seeing a lot more effort towards getting top highschool talent recently and even getting some results. Getting back lost market share will take constant and unrelenting effort.

Franklin had a really weird trajectory. early in his career he looked elite. i actually thought he was better as a FR/SO (based on eyeball test) than as an upperclassmen. which is to say, idk that i blame TNT for being on him early. pretty sure he was 2nd or 3rd at Fargo as an incoming FR.
The “last high profile guy” got beat out for the varsity spot his senior year of high school at multiple weights forcing him to bump up to Hwt and then graduate early. Colby was maybe a top 10 guy at his weight class at some point, Harvey is #1 at 190 and a top 20 P4P in the country guy. Franklin seems like a great kid, but the projections aren’t close. I think we can safely be excited for Harvey, he’s a beast.

I don't follow high school recruiting much, but this sounds wonderful. A cool name, too. Sounds like a roughneck police sergeant from back in the day.
You spelling his name wrong isn't why you're getting shit, it's bc you compared him to Harvey which is stupid. They're on different levels as recruits.
About the worst anybody could say about Kolby is that he has an incomplete resume. His true freshman years, he was 15-6 with losses to Bates(NW), Amos, Rogotzke, Warner, Voelker and a D3 guy. Worst loss was to Warner by maj. Best win was Glazier.

Kid is the real deal, wrestles like a lighter kid has the room to develop into a BIG 197 and from 165 thru heavy is shaped up to win titles!!! We also look great at the first 2 maybe 3 weights, now a couple of studs in the middle and the shEEEET just got real!!!

I checked the posts when Franklin committed, and he was ranked anywhere from 5th-7th at his weight, depending on the site, so to say he wasn't highly regarded is patently false.
