Hawk women only 47% from the line - that is a losing number

I never thought I would see that from an Iowa woman's bball team, maybe they were gassed when they shot a lot of those, maybe pressure, but in my recollection women are better freethrow shooters than men. It was too bad

When you shoot 17 free throws and make only 8 that's a recipe for disaster. Add in the 18 turnovers and countless numbers of missed layups, in totality you're not giving yourself a very good chance of winning.

You're not winning many games shooting 47% from the foul line. Especially when you start shooting 10+ free throws.

Or go on a heater and blow up everyone's bracket. I think they'll figure it out and be successful. Not final 4 successful but I could see them making the E8.
