Saw the below on Twitter. Last year, you could bust the Hawks chops about the non-conference schedule. But this is pretty impressive.

Five of Iowa's non-con foes (N Florida, N Dakota St, Hampton, UNI, ISU) claimed their league tourney title. N Carolina could make 6 tonight.

Pre-season a lot of the nimrods on here were saying why do we play teams like those first three. Just goes to show you never know what to expect from those schools. And Iowa blew them all out. Doesn't mean much now as those games were in November and December but it does help the resume.

Where's the beef! 80s commercial... back to IA, where's the drop in RPIs if all those teams won the championship? As Dangerfield said, "I get no respect!"

Was thinking about this last night. Iowa's non-conference is the only reason we a lock right now. If we played last year's soft schedule, we out. I hope we keep scheduling tough. Those losses are better than easy wins.
