Matt Wempen from LinnMar committed to the room last night. I believe he's a four time medalist and won a state title at 106lbs Soph year?

Wempen projects to be a 141 or 149 pounds in college. He will join a crowded room of middleweights. Wempen likes the idea of training with a group of talented teammates.

Is Alex Streicher of Linn Marr and Dylan Ironside of Eastern Iowa Wrestling the kids of the former Iowa wrestlers? They are wrestling each other in the Greco part of Independence tourney today.

Sure but there's no discernable information there. What's "the Dells" and why is it important? And this thread is about 2015 recruits. Lyon is a 2017 recruit.

Was fun to read some of the recruiting speculation in this thread. Now that we know where most of these kids have ended up. I get a kick out of old threads for this reason.

Yea, I just read it for fun. Most of the speculation was dead wrong (Yates 99% Iowa, Hall - PSU never really a likely landing place for anyone, etc). Not in this thread, but many felt good about Suriano. We need to start closing better (and include to the selling package: the job after graduation that will pay off student loans [and then some] in no time).

Its a tournament called Dominate the Dells or something similar to that. It is nothing special.
