Hawks could very well pull it off. nebby is decent this year, but like all of the B1G they're not great.

This is a must win for Iowa if they want a shot at the tournament. Hoiberg is getting it done though with a proven formula this year & last. They absolutely do not lose at home. They steal a few on the road, and they make the tournament. It's a lot easier when you win them all at home.
We are not good at basketball. Magic 8 ball says “Think again” in terms of winning this ball game. Yikes.

The best, quiet place for students to study on campus is men’s b-ball game night at Carver-Hawkeye. I’m sure that environment will be intimidating to the Huskers.

Like Fran, I'll lazily and occasionally pay a slight bit of attention towards what's going on in this game with my hands in my pockets, thinking "IDGAF" the whole time.
If our guys don’t come out and play with the intensity they did against ISU, they will lose. If they do they should win.

But if they look as lackluster and pitiful as they did in Madison while dropping both games this week, they won't even qualify for the BTT in March let alone snagging a lower seed in the NIT.

I keep thinking Payton is due for a good game and I think he does shoot better at home, though New Hampshire level opponents has helped at home. So I suspect we will see an overall positive game from Payton, instead of the huge anchor he's been providing in most of the games this season vs P5 teams.
Fran if anything is a guy that gets you 0.500 conference ball. This is a home game, can't lose many of those because it is going to be hard to steal more than a few games on the road. So the Fran 0.500 effect says we will win.
If Fran actually built lineups that took defense and rebounding into consideration, getting to 0.500 would be easier.
I happen to get some Wisconsin Fan sites in my New feed... Wisconsin fans now think they have one of the most elite offenses in NCAA ball---the fools gold effect of playing a Fran defense. Fran has Wisky right where he wants them next time we play.

I get everyone is sick of Fran, no body more so than me, but it's not like he doesn't win a fair amount of regular season games.

He adapted to the no middle defense. Even with mediocre talent it has made Nebraska highly effective. I don’t know why more coaches aren’t using it because it works. You don’t even need elite athletes. It simplifies rotations and makes non ball handlers a liability.
Our starting guard for 2 years barely sees the court at Nebraska. They’re going to run away with this thing. We go down early. Payton tries to play hero ball and jacks up 16 shots only making a few and the deficit grows. Fran doesn’t call any timeouts when Nebraska goes on runs and we have another 100 points scored on us.
Heard them talking about this defense in Neb vs UCLA game.

My brother wanted to do something for my bday so got me side line tickets to this game lol. This might be the last time I see Fran coach. They better have an answer after the last disgraceful game. 10 degrees today, could be pretty empty arena.
As stated above, this is about a must win game as we have. We lose this and the wheels will be completely off and Curtis will be posting about his nail gun run ins....again
I have four really good seats to this game plus a VIP parking pass. two of the seats get you in the feller club for free buffet food and soft drinks. Will sell for donations to my hwc polar plunge. All proceeds go to the Hawkeye wrestling club.
