Heated field?

I am sure this has been answered on here before but me and a buddy of mine were just talking about snow removal for the field tomorrow, and I thought the
 
They're going to bobcat the field. And prob leaf close the bleachers. Your feet will be in snow all game.
 
The field I'd not heated. Greg Morris easy on wmt today and said when they redo the turf it will probably get heat at that time.
 
I heard on the radio this morning that they will be using rock salt to thaw out the field since they are replacing it next year with a field that has Herky in the middle.
 
Not sure why that cut off on me and when I was reading the replies I was highly confused until I read my original post. Wow. What I meant to say is I thought at one time I read the field was heated. Not sure if that's true or not

Last week I was in a Kinnick restroom stall and noticed a hole in the wall where the toilet paper dispenser used to be. I was shocked when the person in the next stall
 
They should paint the water tower with an insulating heated paint and then dump the hot water in the water tower on the field to melt the snow and stuff like that kind of thing

After a little research...
No college fields are heated, and only a couple of NFL fields are.
My guess would be that it's a pretty large expense for something that would only be used for one or two games.

Kinnick North is heated. The Vikings installed it.

Minnesota is heated but I heard that it wasn't approved for college so after the Vikings are gone it has to be ripped up and redone at the Vikings expense.
