After losing the focal point of our offense and 3 other presumed starters in the off-season, I was ready to write this team off in the name of development. Even after a gaudy non-con record, it was difficult to see an easy path forward in a stacked Big Ten. And yet here we are in late February, ranked again and edging toward the safe column for the dance.
It helps any team to have a likely lottery pick, but Fran has continually put Keegan in a great position to succeed and has everyone else playing effective complementary roles. And even playing defense.
