In regards to the statements made by Trump about Gaza, Panama, Greenland, etc. the Trump supporters are giddy about the bombastic statements made. "We have to establish a negotiating position" or "It's part of the art of the deal". Trump doesn't really mean for those huge ideas to happen. We aren't really taking over Gaza or Greenland. It's just to start the negotiation from a position of strength. For Ukraine Hegseth says you suck Ukraine and need to roll over for Russia. GIve them the land you had illegally and immorally invaded by Russia. No, you can't join NATO, it's a non-starter. Give Putin whatever he wants and give the USA a bunch of mineral and other rights. How the hell does that work? Russia is NOT our ally. Why are we rolling over to start? Someone want to explain how the different approaches make sense?
