I'm hoping Martin wanted to be a Hawkeye all along but has done things the right way. Hopefully he's followed Kirk's rules by taking his time researching all options. He seems to have been quiet, honest, and humble. He seems like an "Iowa guy". A good fit. Hopefully he's finally ready to be an Iowa Hawkeye.
