WOW, this is interesting and if this statement has no BS in it then several members of the media have made some ridiculous statements in the past couple of days.
Plus, maybe vision problems and the shaking of the head meant mental problems to themIn their defense, it was all based on Kirk saying Cade had been cleared to play, but now Cade says he hasn't been cleared to play. So obviously someone isn't telling the truth in the football facility.
Agreed. the whole 1st on the depth chart, cleared to play, no longer playing, Lainez back, Sullivan out for season but now potentially available in an emergency. All the cryptic stuff lined up like that. I'm sure we'll never know the real story. In their defense, it was all based on Kirk saying Cade had been cleared to play, but now Cade says he hasn't been cleared to play. Could be a simple as he was cleared but concussion symptoms came back in practice and back to concussion protocol he went. Head injuries are weird.Agreed. the whole 1st on the depth chart, cleared to play, no longer playing, Lainez back, Sullivan out for season but now potentially available in an emergency. Maybe they just need to ask the "tough questions". kidding.
You don’t know that. This release is CYA. There’s more to the story than what he put out.

One of those that think they are funny.I hope he is back in time for the CFB Playoffs, we may lose without him.
what he said...He seems to be a good teammate and dedicated to Hawkeye football. I'm sure he is more disappointed with his play than anyone else. Except maybe some gamblers around town! LOL
Every player comes in with high expectations, but many times things don't work out for various reasons.
How do you know that???This release is CYA. There’s more to the story than what he put out.
Every year lately that game is like a suberbowl or something, it is epicIt's starting to look like Nebby is gonna get bowl eligible at Iowa's expense.
What a cluster%@#$.
if you believe that statement you are a mark. go watch a PT Barnum circus. lmfao.
At first I thought this said subparbowl, and I think that's fitting.Every year lately that game is like a suberbowl or something, it is epic
I don’t remember seeing one person who wasn’t thrilled he was coming to the Hawks. Revisionist history is always 20/20.Cade haters? That's dumb.
I certainly don't hate him or any other player.
McNamara has been an often injured and poorly performing player since he got here. It was another miss in evaluation by KF and staff to bring him in that they further compounded by continuing to run him out there as qb1. I'm A-OK with him moving on and more than ready for the staff to finally move on from him. No ill will at all toward the guy.
I didn't care that he was coming or think that it was a great get. But that's not the point. The comment wasn't about fan excitement. It was about a coaching staff evaluation miss.I don’t remember seeing one person who wasn’t thrilled he was coming to the Hawks. Revisionist history is always 20/20.
Right? Clearly the fans are at least as responsible for evaluating potential transfers as the staff who are getting paid millions of dollars to do exactly that. And clearly the staff has done an excellent job with QB evaluations over the past 7 years or so given all the success that we've seen at that position since Stanley was recruited in 2016.I don’t remember seeing one person who wasn’t thrilled he was coming to the Hawks. Revisionist history is always 20/20.
I think fans eventually realized at Michigan, CM was surrounded by way more talent than when he got to IC.I don’t remember seeing one person who wasn’t thrilled he was coming to the Hawks. Revisionist history is always 20/20.

At Iowa it seems the swings like the one for CM never work out.He seems to be a good teammate and dedicated to Hawkeye football. I'm sure he is more disappointed with his play than anyone else. Except maybe some gamblers around town! LOL

You do understand that concussion protocol isn’t just - I have a headache and can’t play, correct? There are actual medical people involved, not just know it all fans.Ah yes, the magical concussion he came down with after he threw the pick 6 against NW. And then the concussion relapse this week😂😂😂. It’s all bullshit
