Yeah, it has been a long time since we had Ronnie Lester, BJ, Bill Jones, Marble Sr etc Rickie Davis on the floor for us. I didnt watch the game but I bet 80% of their players were quicker and more athletic than Iowa usually has

I think this says more about Wade than anything about Iowa. I guess you could say at least being honest with everyone. Didn’t affect them today.

Been widely reported Will Wade gave McNeese a two year commitment when he took the job two years ago. All parties were well aware he’d be leaving. McNeese was fine with that given that he has totally lifted their program in two years and is leaving it much better than he found it. He’s also been up front with his team every step of the way on proceedings. Player interviews this week confirm that. Wouldn’t be shocking to see a few of them head to Raleigh with Coach Wade.

On one hand, however, I get the point you’re trying to make. But nobody has any issues these days when College Football coaches routinely take a new job once the regular season ends and wind up going ahead to start at the new school, bypassing their bowl game altogether. Just part of today’s environment. But since Wade and McNeese had the two year agreement already in place, no one is being blind sided here.
