Does his scheme work? Lots of threes, sketchy defense and average at best rebounding.

Not many B10 teams score 80 points consistently in conference play.

Honestly I don't mean this to offend anybody but you're basically describing Iowa. I think Iowa this year played very, very much like a Hoiberg team.

I don’t know much about hoiburg but that does sound a lot like Iowa.

Nowhere NEAR as much overall quickness and athleticism, which were hallmarks of the mayor's teams at ISU. On the flip side, Iowa had FAR MORE size and muscle up front.

Interesting stuff.......I would GUESS that B10 defensive teams like MSU, Purdue, Michigan, and probably Indiana in the future would give that system difficulties but who knows.

I also thought that Fred made an Asst Coaching change where he brought in a defensive minded coach (form Nebraska coach Sadler) and improved their defensive play somewhat significantly? I thin the B10 is a different conference in terms of style of play...but honestly have no idea how Fred's system would adapt (or how the B10 teams would adapt to them).

I don't watch the B12 so I don't know if their officiating is as bad as our league....or if they allow the hand checking and grabbing that they do in our league?
