All those eggs go to five different houses. I cook for 15-20 people per week. Most of the deviled eggs go in the kids' lunches so a lot of the farts are released at school.Man, the farts in your household must be epic.

I love deviled an eggs…but if I look at one, my LDH jumps about 5 points.I go through about two dozen in a month. The family I cook for goes through at least ten or twelve dozen in a month. They all love deviled eggs, so that uses almost two dozen per week. Lately I've been making quiche and frittatas. And we use a few for banana breads, cookies, breading for various things, egg wash on puff pastry, the occasional omelette, etc. Monday I'm making broccoli cheddar tots and I'll probably use three or four, depending on how many want them.
That's not something I can be honest about. Sorry.
You sound like my red headed step child.Surejan.gif

How big is your coop? And has the savings on eggs offset the price of sheltering and feeding them yet?The eggs you get at the store are not fertilized.
My wife and son eat a lot of hard boiled eggs, so we probably go through a dozen a week.
I’m glad we have laying hens. We do need to get a few more so I’m planning on buying a few from an Amish family next month. We will also get some chicks in the next week or so.
We have our coop in part of the barn so it’s pretty big. They are free range so they don’t need as much feed in the warmer months. I honestly haven’t done the math on if we’re saving money, I’m sure we are because we sell some, but it’s probably minimal. I don’t eat eggs but my family says our eggs taste better than store bought. How big is your coop? And has the savings on eggs offset the price of sheltering and feeding them yet?
We have a spot for a coop, but honestly, I don't know if they're worth the work.
I also don't know if I can afford to build a coop, atm.
