How does the SEC explain #5 LSU losing to 8th best team in the B1G?

LSU has no passing game and a great rb, not a defensive coordinator, but wonder what I would focus on...

eSECpn will say it was too much traveling that far north and too many injuries and the sun was too bright etc. they won't give much credit to Wisky and certainly not the B1G. Whatever. LSU is overrated and Wisky played lights out on defense....

I kinda noticed this during the Iowa game today. They were certainly going off about how that was a no brainer targeting call and obvious fumble-- a little too much emphasis. Then they went on and on about how the stats were similar except, and I quotish, "Iowa was catching all the breaks"

Yeah, and conveniently ignored how Miami got away with a hit out of bounds and a facemask on the same play.

To be fair, it was a no brainer targeting call and an obvious fumble. They mentioned several times how the stats were similar but give Iowa credit they created the turnovers. We as Iowa fans can have such thin skin.

Couldn't have been too obvious of a fumble if they overturned it. I don't know that he even had his second foot down when he got hit and the ball came out.

SEC (7-7) tied with the MAC (6-6) for worst record among all FBS Conferences...
B1G (12-2) is the best.

but you won't hear that on ESPN

It's obvious that lsu was beat up from having to practice against themselves during camp.

They did mention it but quickly said the big ten didn't play tough competition like Mississippi st

Just get that ugly annoying Finebaum on and he will explain (make excuses) for the sorry ass SEC.

Just remember we will get the 'Full sec'. sec as in SORRY EXCUSES CONFERENCE explained to us by ESecPN.

Same excuse as Stanford had for losing to NW last year....As heard at the Rose Bowl
1) Early season doesn't count
2) Too early in the morning for a game
3) We hadn't got the kinks worked out yet
YA DAYADAYADA

With LSU's speed, they kept over running the plays. Couldn't adjust to the slow B1G players.
