Government schools are at historically low standards, that's why there's such a push for school choice now.

Guy in video is not wrong. Can deflect all you want, but he's not wrong. Can bitch about government public schools all you want, but taking money from those schools that are actually held to standards and putting it into private schools who hide any standards doesn't have anything to do with the point he makes. And, from the 80s until present day you can look at the evidence that trickle down economics doesn't work... unless you are the CEOs and leaders at the corps.

You are right if we were running a surplus, but we are not. If you cut tax revenue while in a deficit then those cuts are coming at the expense of an increase in the deficit. You are actually helping the beneficiaries today at the expense of the people who have to pay off that debt tomorrow.
Whoever is receiving the tax break (the wealthiest among us - myself included) are absolutely taking it from your kids and grandkids. That is not debatable, it is an indisputable fact and I wish it was more obvious to everyone.
That is not to say we shouldn’t cut costs, it is critical we do so. But to ignore the glaringly obvious revenue problem is just putting your head in the sand.

Not more than teachers. It's been that way for decades in this place. Most people don't even share what they do for a living. We don't agree much but I highly respect what you do and always say, "Thank you for taking care of me.", to the nurses after a doctor visit because they catch plenty of stupidity on the jobs.

I made it about half way through his lame ass video. Pretty sure Trump just took office about a month ago and he’s the one to blame for large corporations getting tax breaks. The tool in the video is also talking about how DOGE has only save about $50 billion and so on. Has DOGE been searching through stuff for a couple of weeks now. Maybe these educated peeps should be asking why $50 billion has been wasted under the previous president instead of crying that it’s only $50 billion.
