*I have not intentionally watched an NFL, game for the last couple years.

*Cant say that i have intentionally watched an iowa fb game this season.

*Hockey: last night

*Soccer: premier league - wednesday. MLS before the international break after first round of playoffs

*Rugby a month or two ago with the rugby world cup

Commercial stoppages are a big part of the first 2. Sure you have commercials in hockey but they don’t seem to be as big of an intrusion as with a football game. a broadcast generally wraps up in 2 1/2 hours (as opposed to 3-1/2 hours to complete a football game, considering that the ball is actually in play roughly 11 minutes of game time). Considering the two internissions and the clock stops when puck isnt in play, it is a very efficient (and frankly, more exciting) sport.

MLB: not a single pitch since the first field of dreams game. Fvck you MLB for exploiting iowa for your FoD game whike simultaneously blacking out the most teams, in a state that doesnt even have an MLB team
