Yeah, it wouldn't have been a problem to get it passed had the Republican's purposely selected it to politicize. Then those on the left felt compelled to fight against it. As I said in the other thread, the Republicans overstated its economic impact while the Democrats overstated its environmental impact. It was all playing politics on both sides.

Don't all the climate and economic arguments Obama made today about Keystone apply to all the rest of them?
