Tell that to my neighbor across the street whose wife has been missing for five years. Had a murder/suicide a block away a few years ago. Lots of random car break-ins. More than you would expect at least.
My relatives live on a golf course on that side of KC and they're constantly talking about break-ins and cars being robbed. It doesn't help their paranoia that they assume the same thing is happening everywhere.
From the podcasts I listen to the knife gets very slippery with the victim's blood and many times results in the attackers hand getting cut
Yep. And, like it or not, one is more likely to get shot if you have a gun in the house than if you do not.
Nope. I’ve never even fired a weapon above a BB gun. Don’t see the sport in it, don t buy the defense rationale, and even if I did, not prepared to kill someone permanently dead.

I suppose if I lived somewhere I could cross country ski regularly, I might take it up to do biathlon. Because biathlons for badasses
