how much has your 401k dropped?

II don't look at it anymore.
Not worth the grief.
Besides my broker say's "you don't loose until you sell it".
Keep wondering where my money is going as it falls in the maret

Not sure about my 401k, but my total investments are down about $150k

I'm also going to miss out on a $20k bonus for the successful completion of a three-year mission critical project that went live March 1. My wife missed six weeks of work and is just now getting to to about 50% billing. So in total this has cost us about $200k.

But it's going to get worse, with local governors still insisting we have to stay shut down until we've beaten the virus completely.

<1% Early on I decide that Trump was full of bullshit and was interested in preserving what I already had as I neared retirement and had a sufficient amount saved to maintain my life style in retirement.

I questioned Trumps's ability to handle a crisis and while it took over three years for him to face a crisis, he completely shit his pants.

I put most of my holdings into the safest vehicles and sleep at night.

The few things that I didn't change have taken a hit but that's a small part of what is going on.

Since Trump only cares about the stock market, I might have been better off just staying put but then I'd be looking at the market every hour and suffering the ups and downs caused by the lunatic.

As a retiree, I'm getting both my pension and SS right on time.

I think I'll give my "stimulus check" to the Biden campaign.

Ouch. Valuable cautionary tale on why you shouldn’t let emotion and politics invade and ruin your financial strategy. Earned the tough way though.

Down 22% at the end of the month of March, gained a little back in April so far
I’m down about the same amount YTD. My wife of 30 years, is younger than me so we are invested a little more aggressive than we would be if she was the same age as me.

I rarely look at it but I glanced this morning and I’m down 11.67% YTD

ouch
Down 3% - I'm 85% in ST Treasuries in the 401K and IRA. Probably selling a large share of my XOM today if it goes down with stop loss (will be net gain of about 10% for about 2 weeks of holding). If it goes up will move the stop up.
Largest investments - outside commercial RE investments continue to make a little above 8% ($0 income on K1 due to accelerated depreciation). That income (distribution from LLC) headed straight to ST treasuries. Thankfully only about 5% of these holdings are retail/food rent.

Not looking. Nothing I can do about it.

I will say I can live on a lot less than what I thought. Amazing how much I save not driving anywhere. I wear about two sets of clothes. Wife and I could easily get by on one car if we needed to.

I think mine is down about 20% this year because my investments are pretty aggressive considering I'm a ways from retirement. I figure I'm now getting funds at bargain prices, and when the economy recovers in 2021-2022 I won't be in that bad of shape. I really do feel bad for some colleagues who were looking at retiring in the next few years who were invested too aggressively as they rode the wave, and then crashed and burned. I guess I'll be working with them longer than expected.

The max was 24 percent for the 401k. The Roth and IRA were down in the upper teens.

I'm down in my IRA compared to where I was in mid-January, but up compared to where I was when Trump was elected.

It isn't possible to determine exactly what the situation is, because for the past three years I've been taking a lot of money out of the IRA for spending purposes. We've been spending a shitload of money in retirement, on the basis of we're only old once, so WTF.

Amazing when the wife can’t go shopping either.

I'm down about 10% overall. I decided about a year ago to move away from the stock market figuring that IPPG would step in it eventually and he has. Also inherited a little under $100K 18 months ago. Put it in CD for the same reason as above. It's up about 2.5%.

Down 100% Because I withdrew the whole thing in mid February when I quit my job and started my own business.
