Do you scoop it every time your dog poops? Do you wait a week or never? Do you make your kids do it? Where do you put the poop after you scoop it?

My parent's have a Goldendoodle that poops in their yard maybe twice a day. My Mom didn't scoop her poop the last 10 days because of the snow and I went to my parent's house today while they were out.

I probably scooped 20 piles of dog poop which felt like it weighed 15 pounds. I used about 3 plastic bags from Chinese carryout for the poop. I always inspect the bags to make sure they don't have any holes in them so my fingers don't touch poop.

This dog is an angel and it was my honor to scoop her poops.

There's a public trash bin on my parent's side walk and I drop the poop in there after I scoop it.

How do you handle your dog's poop in your yard?

Remember this when 2025 WPOTY comes around.

Bunch of heathens.

Post tits ya queef. We live in Iowa the shit has literally been frozen to the ground for a solid month now. We have a chance at mid 40s this week which may be a good opportunity but it's going to be that half frozen, still stuck to the ground, half thawed and starting to smell shitty again shit.

I don't have a dog anymore.

We normally run a clean shop here by having them go in someone else’s yard. But I just made a blivet (10 pounds in a five pound bag) as I just took my first sweep following the snow and ice we’ve had

What do you do about the dog poop the other 8 months of the year, Professor?

Make my dogs use a side yard to poo in and then kids pick it up.

The Dragon does not do poo!

My parent's Goldendoodle is 11 years old...dreading the day she passes into eternity. :(
Ya, it killed me to put my Jack down. We're looking at getting another pooch around the end of the school year. No summer vacation for us...dog training.

To answer your question, not very often unless my son was doing soccer training...then it's every few days.

This is how my dog operates, however every so often he'll poop in the yard when we can't get out to walk him.

My dog has a thing where he absolutely doesn’t poop on a walk. We’ll even come home from walking and he’ll ask to go out to the backyard. It is nice not having to carry around poop bags.

And to answer the OP question - depends on the season. Outside of winter, prob once a month.

Never. Have an acre under fence and they know to go in the wooded parts off the beaten path and grass and pool when not being walked. Keep in mind this is a sub tropical environment that gets 60 inches of rain. Dog shit does not last long.

Our doodle poops 2-3 times per day… and I get stuck with the honors. This time of year probably twice per week and always try to get all up if it’s gonna snow. I try to clear a patch when it snows, but he often poops in the snow anyway. Warmer months I get it 2-3 times per week. If I don’t do it it won’t be done.

What type of doodle do you have and how much does he/she weigh?
