How weird is it that a guy who says that Bush lied about Iraq

And that Planned Parenthood does a good job is about to become the Republican nominee?
How weird is it that someone else who also lied about Iraq is going to be the Democratic nominee?

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"Every nation has to either be with us, or against us. Those who harbor terrorists, or who finance them, are going to pay a price."

Senator Hillary Clinton (Democrat, New York)
During an interview on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather

Now before you play the she went off the Bush Administrations lies card....

Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade and much of his nation's wealth not on providing for the Iraqi people but on developing nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
-- President Bill Clinton (State of the Union Address), Jan. 27, 1998

One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

Great! Glad to see the Republican finally admit that Bush is a douche and that we need Planned Parenthood. What other stuff can we get you guys to buy into? I'm kind of looking in the direction of Climate Change...

They made some steps about climate change. During the second debate (i think it was) they pretty much said its real but "what is america gonna do about it"

I'm hoping at the next debate they've admit that gay marriage is real.

The consensus amongst my Lib friends is that Trump's willingness to make deals and strong desire to be liked (and win) makes him far less scary than Cruz, or to a lesser extent Rubio. He'll change his schtick for the general and would be a pragmatic President. They will vote for whomever gets the Dem nod, but aren't stoked about either.

The consensus among my Con friends is that their party has been hijacked for the 2nd time in recent memory. They are the educated type and mostly like Rubio (or Trump, as he is closer to their views than the tea party was).

The consensus among both of these groups is that if Trump wins the WH, it will be a little embarrassing for America... and I agree, but anything is better than Cruz. My neighbors basset hound is better than Cruz, and I hate that fvcking dog.

Why do we care what your friends think?
