Injury reports from yesterday afternoon:

The part that gets cut off below is this:

Keegan is no longer sporting a wrap on his left hand and says his thumb/hand feels "a lot" better.

Domantas Sabonis fully participated in practice after being listed as questionable on Saturday due to a thigh contusion.

Apparently Keegan declined being in the NBA All Star 3 point shooting contest because he wanted to come back to Iowa & see family & watch Kris play.

Keegan is making 42% of his threes. As you can see, he could have won the contest.

Keeping fingers crossed for Kevin. :) Hoping Keegan has a nice outing in Salt Lake City!

That was a nice response in the 2nd game of the back-to-back after being embarrassed by Dallas in the first one.
The Suns beat the Kings in their first game back in November, 122-117. Hope the Kings are ready tonight.

I was kinda hoping to see Kevin Durant tonight.

Are the Suns now the favorites to win the NBA Championship?

Their starting lineup, when together & healthy, will be pretty good:

Chris Paul, 6'0 PG
Devin Booker, 6'5 SG
Kevin Durant, 6'10 PF
Deandre Ayton, 7'0 center

I guess Torrey Craig (6'7) would be their starter at SF. He's averaging 8 ppg & 6 rebs

Something is up, 5 mins played total in the second half and nowhere to be seen on the bench. He should be playing right now.

Once again, Booker is the Kings killer along with Ayton. Things really tightening up now in the West. Even with this loss, the Kings still have a 1 game lead on Phoenix. Sac still in 3rd place. They play the Suns again in Phoenix in March.

I was at the Suns / Kings game tonight . Was hoping to see more of Keegan but he never really looked in the flow of the game after the 1st quarter, and sat half the 3rd and all the 4th in the second row of the bench with his warmup on and a towel around his neck.

Brown explains why Kings need Keegan to be more selfish originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

Keegan Murray’s NBA rookie season has been one with peaks and valleys. The 22-year-old has shown, at times, why he was worthy of the No. 4 overall selection in the 2022 NBA Draft. However, Murray also has looked very much look a rookie at times. Nonetheless, Kings coach Mike Brown provided some advice that might help Murray finish the 2022-23 NBA season on a strong note.

“He is skilled, I’m telling you, he is a skilled young man,” Brown said on Sactown Sports 1140’s “Cattles & Ramie” on Monday. “And right now, he’s just [giving] our opponent a little too much respect at times. And he also gives his teammates a little too much respect at times. “Sometimes he’s got to be selfish and he’s got to say, ‘No, I’m taking over’ or ‘No, I’m going to go do this’. But when he does it, he can’t shy away from contact, he can’t shy away from anything. He’s got to go up, through and over somebody with some sort of force to let, not only that opponent know that I’m here, but also to let his teammates know.” The Iowa product entered this season intending to be a complimentary piece to the Kings’ star players, but his first-half success now has him heading to Salt Lake City to be part of NBA All-Star weekend, as he’ll play in the 2023 Jordan Rising Stars game. “I feel like it’s going good,” Murray told reporters on Monday when asked how he feels his rookie season is going (h/t FOX40 News). “I mean, for me, my goal here was just to be because I know we had two really good players in [Domantas Sabonis] and [De’Aaron Fox], so I’d just be able to find a way to play off those guys and be successful.
“And I feel like I’ve done that so far, and I’m trying to do that at an elite level before the playoffs. So I’m just continuing to build off them and establish myself.”

I look everyday for an NBA game for Sacramento and have only seen them listed 2 or at most 3 times all year. Why?

Hopefully he takes Browns advice. He’s more than a 3 point specialist and he needs to get himself more involved in the rest of the game. Would like to see him dribble penetrate more and at times he seems to give up on rebounding to soon.

Because they have no "stars", they aren't the Lakers, Celts <insert team>, and they were projected to only win around 33 or 34 games. Also, they weren't considered a playoff team.

Keegan shot chart from Tuesday night.

2 makes. 5 misses.
