I’m not sure if this has been mentioned(Luka)

He has a legitimate shot of leaving Iowa as the all time scorer and rebounder. Also, top 5 in blocked shots. He’s a once in a generation type player, folks.

If he comes back, next season, he'll shatter all the records.
This year, we need the supporting cast to continue to step-up.
CJ, Weezie, Connor have been great. Need Joe T to bring it every game.........he is capable.

How many points and rebounds does he have now? Can he top Megan Gustafson's records of 2804 points and 1460 rebounds?

What are the current scoring and rebounding lists names to surpass? I looked for a scoring list last week to no avail. I saw Marble senior leads scoring.

Gustafson scored over a thousand points in her senior year. Maybe Luka has a chance if he can get onto that pace from now on? He's got to have around 1400 points now, does he?

Luka is currently at 1326, 583, and 87 respectively. He is averaging 23, 10.4, and 1.7 this year. Do the math through the 2020-2021 season. 10-14 more games this year+around 35 next year.

If he stays he could easily push for #1 in scoring and rebounds. Points will be close and missing any games hurts his chances. But if we can get a tournament run or two to rack up extra games that would help. No chance at catching Acie in blocks, though he could challenge Uthoff.

We need to enjoy this young man while we have him.

On the podcast Tom was urging Hawk fans to pump the brakes on how exciting next year could be and MY GUESS is that he’s aware that the gang might not all be back. It’s total inference on my part, but the only piece we could be missing that would put next years season on disappointment alert would be if Luka leaves. CJ or Joe W would be huge losses, but with more guards coming in I think we’d still be pretty potent with J Bo back in the mix.

Without Luka we’re in real trouble given our big situation and the league we play in. I’m going to enjoy this ride and hope I’m way off in my ASSUMPTION.
