I am tired of losing to Northwestern!

As I previously stated, NU’s starting quarterback was injured, which meant NU had to rely on the run game.

Reading comprehension is a skill, moron.

Also, I don’t think cover 4 means what you think it means...
Deductive reasoning is a skill as well. If Iowa plays a soft cover 4 (pretty sure I know what that means), seems like it wouldn't be difficult to pass for more than a 131 yards. We've had a lot of worse QBs do that against our scheme.

The posts here went off the rails. The point was that NU seems to have Iowa's number last few years. KF needs to change that ASAP!

Lesser teams will always have his number. He plays to the level of his competition, rather than the level of his teams' talent.

The NW thing is a total myth. 5-6 between 07-17 seems bad, but nobody remembers when they occurred. Remember those good Stanzi teams they swept? We had two 3-game losing streaks during that span and the obvious 2-game streak when Stanzi's freak injury. 8 losses out of 11 total those years were consecutive, and NW happened to catch us during each slump. This year? Lost 3 of 4. Caught us last year on the heels of dropping to an FCS foe at home.

Besides, you can't *have someone's number* when we won 4 of 5 as recently as 2011-2015, hanging 40 on them 3x. The only loss coming from the worst Iowa team since the aughts began. They either magically have our number or we lose to a decent B1G team when we're playing terrible football. Nothing unusual about that.

Busted Hawkeye, your true colors are clear now.

One thing though. It's true we used to redletter Ioa. Hell, we used to hate Ioa with a passion, because you owned us. Because you guys used to cream us under Hayden Fry, purposely running up the score every chance you have. It actually started under Gary Barnett - he picked Ioa as our benchmark and redlettered the game. The program that if we could start being competitive with and beat regularly, we'd know that we'd arrived. Yeah, so you used to be circled. But, now, I don't think so. Now, well - you're Ioa. Without the W because that belongs to us now.

Oh, and another thing. Crappy facilities? You must not know about the $220m facility on the lake that we are building. Should be finished next year.

I don't get the Ioa thing. Shouldn't it be IoLa?
