When you are sitting on 2 schollys in the transfer era you don't get to make excuses when two starters can't play. It's a horribly constructed roster and that is on Fran, guy seems to think he's the field goal whisperer and turn anyone into a scorer. He can't. Much easier to just go ballistic on the officials than take ownership I guess

Fran wanted to add a big. Problem is, he doesn't want to pay players who are not yet on campus.

I wish Fran could whisper into Payton's ear and make him a scorer again.

If this were a bunch of 40 year olds paying at the Y, then sure. These are teenage/early 20s kids in the best shape of their lives. Simply did not play well and lost a chance to beat a good team at home.

Would you believe worn down because they are missing 2 major contributors from the rotation? The travel made an impact, too.

Being down 2 starters it's amazing we were even in the game. UW, as much as it pains me, is a pretty good team. They always play us tough with the way they play. We took them to overtime, unhappy about the loss, but pretty impressed with Iowa's showing.

Look we can all hate their ugly style of play but cmon, they’re a tournament team this year as usual. Should have beat Kansas, as usual they will be top 4-5 in the league.

Wiscy lost by 1 to Kansas on a miracle last second put back. They're painful to watch, but they're very good.

They do that bullshit all game long on both ends. Their coaches teach it.

You really believe that? Connor normally plays about 23 minutes a game. Played 41 tonight. Pat played 33. Normally about 24. Kingsbury played 11 minutes and I can’t remember the last time he played meaningful minutes. Not having Murray and Ulis and giving 20 minutes to Sandfort and even 15 to Dix who just isn’t ready is huge. Don’t understand why you guys can’t understand that.

Dix can play. You don’t develop your game by sitting on the bench. If Kris M. is out for a while, Iowa will need Dix to contribute some solid minutes. Kingsbury didn’t embarrass himself either. Fran has to do a better job of the combination of players he puts on the court at times, There is no reason why JO is not playing three minutes a half and I don’t care who we are playing.
