I enjoy not watching this team

I went for a drive today & a walk for the 2nd half of both of the last games.

It’s sad when you can’t even enjoy watching the best player in America anymore.

Need to clean house with the roster. And the first piece that needs to be gone is Fran McCaffrey.

The last few years the team has been fun to watch....the players had toughness, grit, and made huge plays when hawks needed it.... it was awesome.

Now this team has turned into a giant cluster F. Its so disappointing, sad...and kind of pathetic actually. Don't know how to describe it. Never thought I would ever say this about this group of guys.

Hopefully they can salvage whatever they have left. At this rate I don't even see them winning a tourney game

I tried this a couple times and I came back to iowa up under a minute and losing to Minny a few years ago and another one. Need to be more disciplined to stay away.

I got a nice little mountain drive in today. Looking at mountains is much more fun for me than watching JBo, Nunge, & McCaffrey play.

Mountains can move their feet a little.

Really not enough substantial 'highs' anymore for Hawkeye sports. You know the end game, so why continue the torture? There is no Hawkeye zen anymore. Hasn't been since possibly '02-'04 football. One can argue far longer than that.

I think I will record games and only watch when/if they ever win. This not fun to watch IMO. Wrestling is becoming the only sports team that is enjoyable to watch anymore.

And this is why I laugh when people blame the fans or carver when it's not rocking on a Tuesday. Talented but soft and one dimensional teams are a broken record under fran. It's hard to stay enthusiastic when you know what's coming

This team has quickly become very hard to watch. They appear lackluster and disengaged too often and are out of position defensively AND for rebounds. But the hardest thing to watch is JBO and Connor dribbling around the perimeter and rarely penetrating the paint. On the rare occurrence when either player gets close to the basket, they usually pass back out to the arc, or mishandled the ball and a TO occurs. If I were Toussaint, I'd transfer out as soon as the last game is over. He deserves better and so do we.

It was 75 and I went to the range. Hit balls and a little short game work. Iowa pissing away another game just doesn't bother me anymore.

Nice 48 degree day out where I am at. Family decided to drive up into the mountains and do a little hike. When I got up there realized I forgot to record the game. Shrugged it off didn't care. Got back home looked up the score and was glad I didn't waste anytime watching the disaster that has become this team. I have forgotten to record 2 of the last 5 games and couldn't care less.

I have not given up on this team, but I choose not to watch them play unless I simply have nothing better to do. . Sounds contradictory I know, but it works for me.

In fact , I didn't even know they were playing today until I saw the score and said..yep..sounds about right.
