Got a more worthy recipient?
I can see how he should be the 3 instead of the 4. But the 3rd best wrestler wrestling back for 3rd..........well.......it doesn't seem to qualify for the "I Got Screwed" Award to me. If he got the 3, he "might" make the finals and then again he might not. Getting 3rd rather than 2nd doesn't seem like getting screwed to me. Sorry. But thanks for playing....Originally posted by MSU158:
Devin Carter. He is clearly the 3rd best wrestler at 141 and hee was in deep on Port several times. He had a chance to make the finals again on that side of the bracket. Now, he will be wrestling back for 3rd.
I get it and it's just that it's not the seeding is so bad.....it's just that Logie Bear is so good. Whoever gets that side is screwed.Originally posted by MSU158:
Kwood,
If he was seeded 6th, I wouldn't say anything. But, my point was he was put on the side of the bracket with the only guy he can't and won't beat. The difference between Carter and Port is minimal. The difference between the top 3 and the rest is substantial. He made the finals last year just coming off injury. Putting him on the same side as Stieber is wrong.
Gotta agree a little bit here. Carter at #4 and Mayes at #3.Originally posted by MSU158:

Won't upset me a bit then if he takes out DiJulius of tOSU in the 2nd round.Originally posted by Big Fall:
Brewer without questions. 17-1 with a dominating win over Hall at the Big 12s. Returning 2x AA. Absurd. He has the capability to win the whole thing and he just might.
I think Delgado got hosed. I don't really care for him as a wrestler, but to have a two-time champ not get seeded... kind of bogus if you ask me. All because he had a bad Big Ten Tourney.Originally posted by jammenz:

An overall record of 9-3 didn't help.Originally posted by therasslinfan:

He didn't have a bad tourney. He got out-Delgado'd by Tomasello and then forfeited the 3rd place match. He didn't need a WC because he took 4th and the B1G earned 5 spots at 125.Originally posted by therasslinfan:

He gets Habat 2nd round if he gets by Ruggirello in the 1st round so he will have to do his damage on the backside I would guess. Not expecting much from him.Originally posted by shobart:
With Hunter being injured, does anyone really think he's able to really be a threat? Maybe just me, but given his struggle with that injury (elbow I believe) all year, I would be surprised if he does well at the tourney.
I hear what you're saying, but Delgado's seeding is not because he had a bad B1G tourney. It's because the seeding process clearly states that seeds shall be solely based on this season's performance, and that previous seasons should not be considered. I'm not sure how sense this makes if applied blindly, but I understand the thinking behind it.Originally posted by therasslinfan:

Like the Bucks or not, you have to respect the hell out of the Stiebers. Both seem like awesome, genuine guys. If tOSU wasn't in the hunt, I would pull for both of them. Good article.Originally posted by LaxHawk174:
Hunter has a torn UCL in each elbow (per his girlfriend on instagram), and the pain he is in during his matches is quite noticeable, especially in his match with Illinois in the consi semis you can see in the photos provided in this article that i saw on OhioWrestling.Net. (Also a pretty cool article, whether you're a fan of the Stiebers or not)

That being said I think it is a little much to expect Hunter to score a lot of points, if any, but crazier things have happened.
You do indeed. I am definitely in the camp that Logan got an absolute gift in his match with Oliver. He lost IMO. But the record book says differently, and therefore he's eligible to be the next 4 Timer, and I for one hope he gets it done (preferably in Tsirtsis like fashion! HA!). He seems like a great kid, very hard to root against him.Originally posted by IA_Hawk81:
