ALL of our starters return. Cook and Moss included. This was a great learning experience for all of them. This team knows what it is going to take to win in the NCAA tournament - playing aggressively and angry at all times with total effort. And also playing as a team (no hero ball)
With seniors Bohannon, Moss, Cook, and Kriener, and a supporting cast of Wieskamp, Garza, a hopefully healthy Pemsl, this team could make a deep run next year.
And those of us who were saying that this team is not like past Fran teams were proved right in this game. Past teams would have folded. Instead the Hawks nearly etched their name into NCAA lore, overcoming a 25 point comeback.
An awesome team to watch and follow throughout the winter, and they made March fun too. Thanks to Fran and the players for giving their all and battling. Glad I was able to enjoy it and looking forward to an even better year next year
