The Villages is a fun place to visit, but I'd NEVER live there.

They have like four neighborhood "squares" that are super-walkable (no cars allowed, only carts), filled with shops, restaurants, bars, movie theaters and a central stage area featuring free entertainment almost every day and night. One of these squares has a Townplace hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.
They had an antique car show in the square the day I was there which was supercool. Guess they had to make an exception to the "no cars" rule, lol.
And yes, some of the jackwagons who live there have souped-up golf carts that'll go 50 mph. Those assholes need to be regulated.

The Villages is weird af. Played a softball tournament there a few years ago. The old timers LOVED my tits. lol. Dirty m’fers live there.
I was wondering if this was some sort of golf cart demolition derby. Something Johnny Knoxville and crew would do.
The villages has exceedingly high std rates, including hiv.

They should rename the Villages. It literally should be called Hedonism.
55+ communities are the (STD) bomb in Florida.
I saw it, didn’t read it. I’ve been to the villages. It’s my personal version of hell. There is no part of Florida not within 5 miles of the ocean worth visiting.
Edit: Universal studios being the only exception.
Came out of that cart like being fired from an ejection seat. Played it pretty cool, so, kudos.
