Trump is a bullshitter. He takes small grains of truth and regurgitates his own version (i.e. COVID). He throws out threats to gain a negotiating advantage (i.e. punitive tariffs).
He bends the truth or outright lies to make political points (virtually anything and everything). On that point, his middle name should be 'Hyperbole', and that's being kind.

He lies CONSTANTLY. Even on a rare occasion when I WANT to believe him, I have to assume he's lying. Everybody ripped Biden at the debate, but Trump lied 30 times and won. People just soak the lies up happily.
That's because they arn't debates, they are just contests about who can sound better and make better sound bites.
Debates require facts. This doesn't.
And God forbid the media fact check you, then they are biased.
Imagine Scruddy, H4aD, Rico, etc. all sitting in that audience not getting the joke, but nodding simply in agreement.
