Well, not to pick at old wounds, but yeah, I guess I am...beating an in-state rival 42-3 will also drop you in the polls.
Regardless, Iowa needs to regroup, beat Sparty, take care of Ill--annoy, etc. and the rankings will take care of themselves.
30th in AP though right? AP poll has actually been decent this year. Coaches poll is an absolute effing travesty! Not just for Iowa either.. FSU 25???
Coaches poll is a joke. Wouldn't be surprised if they won and weren't ranked. The fact that FSU is ranked even close to the top 25 right now is not even funny.
Close to the top 25? They are 25th in the coaches. 0-2 after 4 weeks and just lost to a mediocre NC state team.
Get a couple more wins in next 2 weeks and theeeee

My buddy who was one of the managers for the Hawkeyes basketball team for a few seasons awhile back told me not to rely heavily on the coaches polls because a lot of the times the surveys are completed by managers, administrative assistants, wives, etc. just to get them submitted and that some of the time the person filling it out would have no clue what actually took place that week or season.
Would sure make sense based on what you see most of the time
