My wife and I have known sign language for 30 years, and a big part of that communication is reading lips. I'm not great at it and can't tell what they're saying, but I can tell you for certain that they're NOT saying Penn State. Say "Penn" and notice what you do with your lips. Then watch the skinny guy that kinda looks to the right. He's right in sync with the chant and he never comes close to closing his lips to form a "p". Looks more like in, en, ten....something along those lines. But definitely not " Penn".
Is this the same PSU team that loss to Northwestern who Iowa beat 40-10? I've heard a lot of things at a Iowa home game but never " we are Penn State". Maybe 4-5 drunk PSU fans that got lost in Iowa and thought they were at a PSU game. Could of been "where is Penn State"?

I think the Iowa band might have been the only one not shown on TV in a Big 10 commercial during the game last night Our band probably ranks at the bottom of the Big 10. In my humble opinion the only thing bands do at football games is take up valuable seating

Hmm. Strange, but I can certainly see why some may have thought that. Much more plausible, and reasonable, would be "We've won 10 straight!". This does smack of the similar confusion surrounding the lyrics of some of the popular songs of my teen years. Can't recall the song, but the actual lyric was "rev'd up like a deuce you know, another runner in the night"; I was waaaaaay off on that one.
We'll probably need a quote from a band member to figure this one out.
