Would show some "classic" Iowa bball games. We are getting shafted hard boyz.

They seem to have an archive of about four different basketball games and four football games that they show over and over on our "classic" days. It's almost as if they are discouraging viewers.

It's a fvckin joke. Georgetown vs Maryland or MSU Michigan for a month straight. I'd like to see Purdue at Iowa from 2010 or

BTN is really bad in terms of classis games. Not sure if a lot of this has to do for who has the rights and will Ben pay for them. Regardless they stink.

Iowa vs Marquette was on this morning.

That is actually a perfect example. How is that anything close to a classic? How about Iowa st NC (twice) or Iowa Oklahoma or Iowa MSU or.....it seems as though their library is real thin. Razor thin.

YouTube is one of the best options for archives and classic games. I love it when you can find one that you didn't ever expect to be uploaded.

The BTN library is thin, the network is still sorta new as TV networks go, and they are going to be sending the Hawks, what, $10-12 million a year? The BTN does not suck.

I think the BTN generally does a nice job, but the games it repeats have become very, very stale. Over the first few years, it seemed they purchased rights to broadcast a number of classic games that drew me in, but it seems they've rested on their laurels since then. What's more, the BTN has been steadily broadcasting games for seven years, so you would think there would be a lot more to choose from within its own archives rather than, for example, playing the Jevon Pugh/MSU game for the 80th time. Here's a pitch: Obtain the rights to approx one great win per conference team every quarter, schedule it to run the same time each week and call it "New Classics." Then in slower times of the year randomly sprinkle in good but not amazing games that originally aired on the channel. Show Senior Matt Gatens, Freshman Aaron White and others take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 2012. If it's fresh content with faces you remember, but outcomes you can't, fans will tune in.
