This thread is about the night of conflict and the IA Wrestle boys said match 2 was being announced today. I would have no clue on either of those recruits.

Great matchups so far. I can't wait to see Jrent and Meja(again) in person. That Thompson Meja match will be tough to beat. Maja is a goer and and Thompson was the most impressive wrestler at the state tourney. The West kid never got a chance to get going because Alex was constantly on the attack. He has Iowa style written all over him. I hope both guys end up in the black and gold. They will be at different weights in college.
I'm excited for this matchup. Degen is a 3 time state champ and 2 time NHSCA national champ with a ton of upside. He is actually 6'3" tall too which is crazy for a 138 guy so it should make for an interesting matchup with Happel. Also, he is coached by former Hawkeye Dylan Carew who used to work with Happel as well.
He took 4th at USA Wrestling Folk Nationals this year too. His two losses there were to Marko 4-2 in the UTB, then he lost the 3rd place match 4-3 on TBs.

Gomez is just as good a replacement as Mejia purely from a State of Iowa stand point. I know Iowa St. is a school he's really looking at.

Well Lee and Jordan Wood are in Flo's event, and Happel already has an opponent so that eliminates 120, 138, and 220.
I'm guessing it's the young woman wrestler. They sent a tweet out saying to follow her last night. Can't remember her name but that's my guess. Female wrestler.
