That RN thought this was a slam dunk to celebrate shows how far down the path towards fascism we already are--the thought processes at this point are ingrained in at the least a large minority of Americans.

lol, this is not even remotely close to the same thing, but keep posting what makes you feel better

Per the ACLU what the government did was ok, he led a protest where people did unlawful things and were arrested. It was not a peaceful protest so it doesn’t fall under the first amendment. My other article I posted goes into some of those things those people did
So he's being held responsible for what others did?

There were opne calls for war against Israel and and US statements. You dont get to stay here on a visa and green card taking advantage of our system while making statements against the US. He is not entitled to the same freedoms US citizens are.
What did he say, specifically?

Or are we just going with guilt by association now?

No criminal activity has been alleged.

Although an inflammatory speaker cannot be punished for merely arousing an audience, a speaker can be arrested for incitement if he/she advocates imminent violence or specifically provokes people to commit unlawful actions.

From the ACLU
Oh God Damn it you imbecile. They haven't charged the guy with any crime.

Did he do either of those things?

From AP

The university’s allegations against Khalil focused on his involvement in the Columbia University Apartheid Divest group. He faced sanctions for potentially helping to organize an “unauthorized marching event” in which participants glorified Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack and playing a “substantial role” in the circulation of social media posts criticizing Zionism, among other acts of alleged discrimination.

You do realize that doesn't say he supports Hamas, right?

Um he helped organize an event which participants glorified Hamas,

You guys can keep spinning this all you want, but I have laid out articles, justifications for his arrest, and even legal opinions from the ACLU, he broke the law, this is not covered under free speech, and he is not a citizen who supports Hamas, time for him to go back home

And yet you can’t point to where he broke the law, was charged or convicted of anything. Ultimately, his green card was revoked for no reason other than the federal government decided it didn’t like what he said.

You can argue whatever you like, but that’s exactly what happened.
