wow ...lots of as$holes in hawkeyeland...I start a post to support the professionals and all I get is heartbreak and assholeisheness mixed with dipshiteronda
I mean.....is it supposed to be all sunshine and roses after blowing a 23 point lead to a delpeated squad?
Most fans will say, "any B1G road win is great, but...."
I was impressed with the first half and the effort level. The Hawks were destroying them. They even extended the lead in the second half.
I'd have to rewatch, but it felt like we got complacent at the worst time.... When MN was getting desperate and shots started falling.
I had hopes that they'd put in a complete game today after that first 25+mins, but on to the next game. On the road at Rutgers would he a great time to get that full game of quality bball.

LOL you started a post calling posters here “idiots,” “dickwads,” and “losers” (we can now add “assholes” and “dipshits” to the mix) and are sad now that it wasn’t met with rave reviews? If there are a lot of assholes in Hawkeyeland, then you sound like a great Hawk!
Doubt the tantrums from the fans are anywhere close to the tantrums our head coach displays. Is he childish?
First off if you’re comparing fans ranting on a message board to a coach getting after officials, you’re simply trying to defend these so called fans, because it’s an expectation that a coach fight FOR his team…not trashing his own players. If you’re referring to the coach occasionally going off on his players when they aren’t executing what they’ve practiced, well again you’re trying to compare a coach doing his job (using an accepted coaching practice) to fans demeaning players.

Maybe if we’d make it past the second round of the tourney, win the BIG tourney or regular season championship, or just not collapse in the second half of the season fans would be less critical of Fran and his distribution of minutes and game management. It’s like fans watched this near collapse and were reminded how this season likely ends.
If Iowa does not play a full game against Rutgers on the road, they will lose IMO

thought I would add to this post because as I was watching the game...an impressive hard-fought win...reading the game thread, you would have thought the Hawks were getting their ass kicked and Fran was caught jacking off on the sideline instead of substituting properly....my god idiots watch the game enjoy the team and have some effing perspective.
