If we clean up our rebounding issues, just imagine

Agreed. Another point is when Peter, J Bo, and Ellingson are on the floor the inside is really opening up. Uhl, Moss and Baer knock down a couple and defenses have to respect the three.

Yeah, it was pathetic in the second half. Fran needs to get a coach to teach rebounding. Too much standing and no blocking out.

In the Davis days, we would lead the nation in rebounding margin; Fran's teams historically have had a lot to be desired when it comes to rebounding

Is this team fun to watch? yep!!!! But, getting stops, getting the rebound, discouraging the opponent as a result, and taking off to the other end of the court is a lot of fun too

Per HawkCentral:

Nebraska (10-13, 4-7) stayed in the game by grabbing 16 offensive rebounds and converting them into 22 points.

Giving up 16 offensive rebounds to Nebby just about killed us.

Going into the game, it was the one area Iowa had to be really concerned about. Nebraska is the second-best offensive rebounding team in the B1G, it grabs 34% of its misses on offense. Against Iowa, Nebraska got 40% of its misses. Iowa got 30% of its own misses, which is a pretty good number. Iowa won the game by turning it over a few less times than the Huskers and making more 3's. Iowa was 9-19 and Nebraska was 3-20 from 3-point land. Nebraska just isn't very good shooting the ball, so all the offensive rebounds it gets don't turn into as many points as one might think.

At this point in the season, teams kind of are what they are. Would certainly like to see Iowa rebound better, but our best defensive rebounder (Kriener) has been not very good the last couple of games (fouls at Rutgers and played just 5 minutes against Nebraska).

With his skills Cook should be a good offensive rebounder. You can see him starting to put in the effort. But the results aren't there yet.
