If you do something intentional and willfull to cheat, should you be banned for life from coaching?

Would this help clean up college athletics? I.e., if you get caught cheating, you not only get fired from your current job, you are banned for life from college coaching.

Yes, at least in Division 1. It's one of the few deterrents they have.

Not for a first time offense. However, I have zero issue with multiple offenders getting a lifetime ban.
